After what seems to have been a very long wet winter, spring is definitely around the corner………….

Yippee, it’s so up lifting to wake up to light, bird song and sometimes sunshine.

This weekend I am back to Forest of Dean to attend an advanced Eco Mapping workshop with Mandy Pullen. This term is best described as an eco shamanism healing technique with an emphasis on nature and the middle world. Eco Mapping asks that the client seeks healing ‘outdoors’ directly through nature with the practitioner gently guiding and holding space for the client. It predominantly relies on oracular methods such as omens and divination and the use of the five senses as the connecting feed to our sixth sense of spirit. This time of year is very timely to undertake such a journey, setting the intention of new beginnings, being encouraged to make changes from mother nature and all that it brings. If anyone out there that feels stuck and needs a fresh reboot, please give me a call to book.

Thoughts for this season…

I think it’s important at this time to concentrate on building up one’s immunity. Walking outside, taking supplements, eating well plus have adequate rest.

This year the Spring Equinox falls about March 20th 21st. It’s quite a bit earlier than usual. Observe nature around you……

March full moon is called ‘The Full Worm Moon’

Watch the arc of the Sun across the sky as it shifts toward the north.

Birds are migrating northward, along with the path of the Sun.

Notice that the days are getting longer. Increased sunlight is a trigger for the birds to sing.

Can you feel the Sun getting stronger?

March is time to start gardens and sow seeds

Try some Spring recipes for extra vim and vigour.
